Sitting Up

Hi! It's me, Ryan Kennedy Stoeber. My mom says I'm such a big boy. Since I've learned to sit up by myself, she says I'm big enough to update our family blog this time around.

This sitting up thing is great! Now at mealtimes I can sit AT the table in the booster seat, rather than ON the table in the Bumbo. I'll miss my orange Bumbo, it was great and kept me safe, until I learned how to get out of it.
New toys have magically appeared now since I can sit up. This Leap Frog one is cool. It speaks to me in different languages, "Hola, Bonjour, Konnichi wa" and it counts up to five and it has lots of buttons and songs it plays.

Everyone says I have such big hands, it's about time they got me started on basketball. Mr. David and Miss Karen and their kids Joshua and Haley got me this for Christmas, I'm having fun, it too makes lots of sounds and it'll adjust higher as I grow!

Mommy bought me a new toy today from the store, she usually doesn't do that. But it was so hot and I didn't have a pool so look what I got! It's just the right size for me, I sit in the Hippo's mouth and am protected from the sun and wind. Don't worry grandmas, mommy put sunscreen on me just to be careful.

I didn't protest being put in the water much. Mom held me and we started by splashing my feet in the water. I soon figured out it was just like the bathtub, only the water was a little colder. In this picture I made a big splash with my hands, so much so that I had to close my eyes!

And like all occasions, I have a hat. You can't really tell, but it's blue with green sharks and alligators and other water animals on it.

Ahhh, I love to lounge in the pool. I could get used to this lifestyle.
