Sorry, no pictures this time around. I'll try to post those on Sunday. I had been using Sundays as my blog update days, but fell behind a little bit. So what have we been up to?
-Visiting Great-grandma Katie as she recovers from her broken hip.
-Visiting cousins Nathan, Caden, and Adam and great-aunt Sherry.
-Ryan going to exercise class with me on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
-Clipping coupons (it's double coupon week at Super K-Mart!)
-Playing with the Bleims (friends and former co-workers of mine) - Pam, Rodney, Katie, Beth, and twins Ryan and Ben.
-Going on afternoon walks with Gizmo.
-Easter at great uncle Chris & great aunt Christy's house.
-Passing out 6 month photos. The outfit winner was the celery green polo under the navy blue sweater. The other outfit he wore on Easter.
-Celebrating Daddy's birthdy (today, the 24th). Our friend Joanne is coming to babysit tonight so we can hit The Full Slab for dinner.
-Dean divided up our hostas and lillies to various spots in the backyard.
-I started going through Ryan's clothes to get summer stuff out and divide out all the 0-3 and 3-6 month stuff he's outgrown.
-Watching the Cubs!
-I think that about covers it. I will try to post Easter photos and pictures of Ryan with the Birthday man on Sunday.

Picture Time!
I had to decide what Ryan was going to wear for his 6 month portraits. It came down to these 2 outfits.
Option 1: tan cordoroy pants, long sleeve light blue shirt under a short sleeve white colored polo shirt with a navy and light blue stripe and paperboy's hat.

Option 2: Same cordoroy pants and paperboy's hat, but with a celery green short sleeve polo under a navy v-neck sweater vest. (Yes those are the tags you see on his left side).
Dean, Ryan, and I visited my old place of work, the Vernon Hills Park District for their Hoppin' Holiday Hunt. Here I am holding Ryan. Yes, you read that correctly - I am the one holding him in these pictures. I came out of retirement (for 1 day only) to resume the role I played for 5 years at this event. I even got to wear a new costume this year! I don't know if you can see them or not, but Ryan is wearing the cutest rabbit slippers, they even rattle! The woman who replaced me at VHPD bought them for him.
