Grandma, and Grandpas, and Greats, oh my!

I was counting up the number of Grandparents Ryan has, and I almost ran out of fingers! They say grandparents really spoil their grandkids. If that holds true (which thusfar it has), Dean and I will never be able to lay down the law with Ryan! Below are pictures of Ryan with all his grand-folks.

Great Grandma Katie (my mom's mom)

Great Grandpa Joe (my dad's dad)
Great Gramma Pat (my dad's mom)

Meema and Meepa (my mom and dad)

Grandpa Dale (Dean's dad)

Nana Cheryl (Dean's mom)

Another day inside

We were stuck inside yet again today as the temperature remained below 0 degrees. I decided to give Ryan the day off from playing dress up and instead chose my doghter to be my victim. Gizmo really is good about wearing clothes. Here she is in her Illini jersey, which she got for Christmas.

Outfit Revisited

While changing out Ryan's closet for 3-6 month clothes, I found the outfit he wore in his hospital photo and decided to put it on him again. I loved this outfit, unfortunately he never had an occasion to wear it besides his first photo, so I took his picture in it again and compared the two. Never would know it was the same baby. Just remember, in the newborn picture he had just been circumsized.

Second Try

As I mentioned, I'm not good at this technology thing. I won't quit (yet) though. Here's my second attempt at posting the bear picture.

stuck inside

I vow to have my next child in the spring or summer. This has been an awful winter, we've been stuck inside more than I'd like. So what do we do when we're bored, we play dress up Ryan!

Here he is a cow.

Now he's a bear.

Ryan is 3 months

Ryan turned 3 months old on Sunday. Though it's far from professional, here's a picture. Remember, I'm still new at this technology thing. Eventually I'll figure out how to flip the picture so it's the right direction.

It's a new year!

It's a new year which means I should take on new challenges, especially in the technology department. I'm horrible with the cell phone, I don't text, can't upload my own music to my Ipod, and am just learning how to download pictures from my camera. So, I vow this year to try something new and a blog was it! Plus because Dean and I live far from some of our family and friends, it's a great way to stay connected.
